Shan is a specialist Family Practitioner with over 20 years’ experience in Public and Private Law Children Act proceedings and matrimonial finance.
She is regularly instructed in Public Law Disputes concerning cases for Local Authorities and parents as well as extended family members.
Shan also represents children, either directly or through their Guardians.
Her experience covers all aspects of care and adoption proceedings, including cases involving contested issues of fact, complex medical evidence and cases involving foreign elements and Private Law Proceedings involving serious allegations of abuse.
She has appeared at all levels from Family Proceedings Court up to and including the Court of Appeal.
Shan is a fluent Welsh speaker.
